Quick and Easy Waffle Recipe

The finest waffle recipe ever! Make the easy batter in minutes and top your crisp, delicate waffles with your favourite toppings.  

– 2¼ cups all-purpose flour (270g) – ¼ cup granulated sugar (50g) – 1 tablespoon baking powder – ¾ teaspoon salt – 2 cups milk (480ml) – ½ cup unsalted butter melted (113g) – 2 large egg – 2 teaspoons vanilla extract


Heat the waffle iron. For a crispier waffle, choose a darker or higher heat setting.  

Step 1


Mix flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl. Mix milk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla in a medium basin. Stir the milk mixture into the flour mixture until mixed.  

Step 2

Grease the hot waffle iron with butter or spray. Put 1/3 cup of batter per waffle in the hot waffle iron. Try different amounts depending on your waffle maker's size.  

Step 3

Achieve golden brown. For crispness, keep on a wire rack until serving. Serve hot with maple syrup, butter, or your favourite toppings.
