Quick and Easy Crepes Recipe

A blender, nonstick pan, and 7 basic ingredients make my handmade Crepes Recipe a simple way to bring France to your kitchen. Buttery crepes may hold any sweet or savoury filling.

– 3 large egg – ▢1 cup all-purpose flour (4¼ oz/120g) – ▢¾ cup whole milk (180mL) – ▢½ cup water (120mL) – ▢1 tablespoon unsalted butter melted plus more for cooking – ▢½ teaspoon vanilla extract – ▢⅛ teaspoon salt

In a large bowl or blender, mix the eggs, flour, milk, flour, water, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt.

Step 1

Stir or combine the batter for 30 seconds until smooth. Cover and chill batter for 1–4 hours. Over medium heat, heat an 8-inch nonstick skillet. Butter the skillet lightly.

Step 2

After adding 3 tablespoons of batter to the skillet, rotate it to coat the bottom. Cook the pancake for 30–45 seconds to lightly brown the bottom.

Step 3

Flip and cook the pancake for 10-15 seconds to lightly brown the other side. Keep the pancake warm on a big dish with a clean kitchen towel.

Step 4

Repeat with the remaining batter, coating the skillet with butter between crepes. With fresh fruit, nutella, whipped cream, or powdered sugar, serve crepes warm.
